Now what?
A physical tragic comedy with half masks






“Now what?” is the simple and ordinary story of how the simple and ordinary life of two simple ordinary people stops to be simple and ordinary when they have to leave their home.
The story takes place in an undefined geographical area that could be anywhere in the world.
In an undefined geographical area, two brothers, Tom and Paul have a normal ordinary life. They wake up, share a coffee, shop at Mike’s Mini Markt in the end of the road, go to work at the nearby office. They also take care of grandma, which despite the age is still very energetic and often more brilliant in making choices. She is the one that will help them knowing what to do when the regular and ordinary life they live, will drastically change.
Through the use of different masks, the actors enjoy the virtuosity of changing characters. With a simple scenography and mimed-created environment, the show takes the audience in the different scenarios where the story takes place. Stimulating the imagination, this show remind us how one personal story can be everyone story.

Nikos Wölfl is an artist works in different contexts that brings people together. Since many years he is co-creating various social and artistic projects in the GutAlaune collective (Halle-Saale). He is a sculptor, mask maker and actor. He’s the co-founder of the company Concreto Theatre.
Francesco Procopio is an artist with a strong focus on Performing arts. His works go from sculpting for mask making, acting, directing and circus.When staging a play, he focuses mostly on the ability of the actors to create connection and engaging with the audience. He uses simple technical means, or as simple as possible, to tell stories. Those stories are always an excuse to talk about the condition of the human being through poetry and tragic comedy. He’s the co-founder of the company Concreto Theatre.
